Our conditions

Bike tours

- Please always stay with the group during the bike tours and only take the routes specified by the tour guide. Do not leave the group on your own.

- Always listen to the guide, they have experience with the city and know how to handle the situations.

- Please consider other participants in the group.

- Please consider the other people on the street (pedestrians, other bikes and vehicles). We ask you to adhere to the Spanish traffic regulations.

- Bike tours, as well as rental of bicycles, will only take place if there is at least one adult who assumes the liability.

- We recommend you to book at least one day in advance for a guided bike tour so we can contact and provide a guide in the preferred language in time.

- We accept no liability for self-inflicted damage by the cyclist.

- If you want to keep the bikes after the tour, please inform us before the tour. We can make the rental contract and do the payment before the tour starts and you do not have to come back to our shop after the tour.

- To ensure that you can rent the bikes after the tour, we recommend that you inform us already in your reservation so we can book the bikes for you.

- If you should have health problems during the tour (such as circulatory problems) or need a break, please inform our tour guide immediately.

- Always leave the bike with the guide after the tour.

- For minors (under 16) it is mandatory to wear a helmet.

- Parents, guardians and/or tutors are responsible for minors (and will sign in their behalf).

- For some of our tours we need a prepayment of 5 € per person (the bank transfer fee is to pay by the hirer):

- In case of cancellation of a guided tour we can only refund your prepayment if the cancellation is done 72 hours (3 days) in advance.

Bicycle rental

- The rental of the bikes takes place in our shop in Calle Vendeja 6, 29001 Málaga.

- You bring back the bikes at this same address. Calle Vendeja 6, 29001 Málaga.

- The rental is possible between 10.00 and 19.00h.

- Bike tours, as well as rental of bicycles, will only take place if there is at least one adult who assumes the liability.

- The payment will be done at the start of the rental period.

- To reserve your bikes we need a prepayment of 5€ per city bike and 20€ per electric city bike. The bank transfer fee is to pay by the hirer.

- In case of cancellation of the electric city bikes we can only refund your prepayment if the cancellation is done 2 weeks in advance.

- In case of cancellation of the city bikes we can only refund your prepayment if the cancellation is done 72 hours (3 days) in advance.

- If you return the bike before the agreed end of the rental period, we will not refund you the balance.

- If you have a flat tire please bring the bike back to our shop or let someone help you on the spot. We do not offer technical support outside our shop. If we have the same bike model available in the shop we will exchange the bike. For the City Bikes we recommend an anti-puncture foam, which you can buy in our shop.

- No repair costs of a foreign company are acquired by us.

- The bikes are not insured. During the rental period you are responsible for any damage such as accidents, injuries, property damage by third parties, etc. We assume no responsibility for complaints that have come through personal fault or any third party.

- As a customer you are required to protect the bikes and the equipment. In case of damage or theft you must pay the current market value for the loss and the restoration. In case of lost we charge 300 € for a city bike, 500 € for a folding bike and 1500 € for an e-bike. In case you loose your key we have to charge you 15 € per lost key.

- Always lock the rented bikes safely as soon as you leave it unattended. You block the wheels by pushing the lever of the assembled lock downwards while turning the key, when the lever is down you pull out the key.

- Always use the second lock to chain the bikes to each other or to, for example, a lamp post.

- You are not allowed to leave the bikes outside overnight.

- We ask you to adhere to the Spanish traffic regulations.

- If you want to rent our bikes, we need a deposit of 100€ per city bike / 200 € per trekking or folding bike / 300 € per e-bike during the whole rental period. This we block on the credit card (only Master Card or Visa) or you can leave it in cash. If you do not want to leave money we also accept a personal document such as a driver’s license, passport or identity card. You will get back the deposit when you return the bikes and the equipment as noted in the contract.

- By signing the contract you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for the rented bicycles and accessories and that you have hired the bike in perfect condition.
